At The Bark Lab, we’re focused on supporting your dog’s physical, behavioral, and mental health. Whether they are playing or staying with us, they will enjoy a large indoor and outdoor facility, low staff to dog ratios, closely-monitored structured playtime, mental enrichment, and scheduled rest time.
The Bark Lab is owned and managed by multi-credentialed, positive-reinforcement-based trainers who are passionate about creating a better dog daycare model. Our goal is always to send your dog home happy, healthy, well-exercised, and with their mental enrichment needs met.
Meet The Team
Laura is a passionate dog trainer and behavior consultant who applies fear- and force-free methods. A scientist by training, she is adamant about only using humane, science-backed methods and staying current with emerging research.

Matt has an extensive background in business management with a degree in Business Administration from UMass Boston. Matt also brings a lifetime of experience training and working with dogs and has a special soft spot for dogs needing extra behavioral support.

Kira Flynn
Kira started working with dogs with an enthusiasm for the intersection of science and dog training. Originally trained in biology and biomedical sciences, Kira pivoted her career to dog training after a health crisis led to the need for a service dog, which she owner-trained.
Eduardo is an incredibly talented dog trainer. He has known since childhood that he was destined to work with dogs, and this was solidified during a hands-on program working at the Lenfest Animal Health Center in college.

Stephanie Pate
Stephanie is one of the founding team members at The Bark Lab. Stephanie recently made a career change from insurance adjusting to dog training and care (and who can blame her?!).

Jessie is a career daycare attendant with five years of experience supervising dog daycare playgroups across 4 different daycares. She is the lead daycare attendant and organizes all morning playgroups.
