Hi, I’m Kira Flynn
Associate Trainer / B.S., IAABC-ADT / (She/They)
Kira started working with dogs with an enthusiasm for the intersection of science and dog training. Originally trained in biology and biomedical sciences, Kira pivoted her career to dog training after a health crisis led to the need for a service dog, which she owner-trained under the mentorship of an industry-leading service dog specialist. Once her health crisis had passed, she had officially caught the training “bug” and began training professionally, ultimately achieving her prestigious IAABC-ADT certification. Kira specializes in obedience/manners, canine good citizen preparation, leash reactivity, and service and therapy dog training. At the lab, Kira teaches our group classes, assists with 1:1 training for our board and train dogs, and assists in monitoring playgroups when dogs need extra support.
Outside of work, you can often find Kira swimming and baking gluten free treats for humans and dogs alike. Her very favorite treat is a gluten-free carrot cake cupcake.
