Nancy has always loved dogs, but especially Scottish terriers, which she (lovingly!) refers to as "big dogs in a small package." She has quite the diverse career history, with more than 20 years' experience as a dental technician and dental lab owner, followed by more than a decade as a software engineer. She joins The Bark Lab out of an enthusiasm to learn more about dogs, body language, and behavior.

A self-professed Star Trek nerd, when Nancy is not at work, you can find her reading, hiking, kayaking, baking, practicing photography, and playing the bagpipes.s
