Laura is a passionate dog trainer and behavior consultant who applies fear- and force-free methods. A scientist by training, she is adamant about only using humane, science-backed methods and staying current with emerging research. She specializes in modifying aggression, fear, reactivity, general anxiety, and separation anxiety, but she also provides services to prevent these, including basic and advanced manners and comprehensive puppy-raising.

She is a graduate of the world-renowned Academy for Dog Trainers, a graduate of the comprehensive Aggression in Dogs Master Course, and fear-free certified. She holds all major independent, industry-recognized certifications in training and behavior modification, and she is an avid rescue supporter and volunteers for Bullied Breeds Rescue, Rescue Inc., Brown Dog Coalition, Sweet Paws Rescue, and Rescue Allies (where she sits on the board). Laura also serves as a mentor for several junior trainers in the Greater Boston area and is passionate about expanding the number of qualified behavior practitioners in Massachusetts.

When she’s not working, you can usually find Laura on the beach or in the woods with her heart dog, Kevin, traveling the world, or tending to her many houseplants.
